It's not very often that the one of the very first pictures I shoot is one of my favorites. But little H was such a friendly little lady that her personality came through right away. It was like she was inviting me to follow along. I'm glad I had the opportunity; She kept me laughing and I got to catch those fantastic blue eyes. . .

The H Family {Goshen Family Photographer}
Will this crazy Indiana weather ever end? After one reschedule due to rain, it looked like strong winds might stop us again. We decided to work around the wind and it turned out to be a wise decision because the kids were in the mood for pictures today. Little C was even requesting "my turn" and cheesing for the camera. The result was a some pretty cute stuff . . .

Grandkids! {Goshen Family Photographer}
This was one of the first families I ever photgraphed, so it was fun to catch up with them again. Everyone is a little older now and one more grand child has been added to the mix. So for a little sneak peak, I thought I'd share the kids. . .

The S Family {Elkhart Family Photographer}
Today I spent another warm, sunny afternoon at the park. This time I was with one-year-old E and his parents. The park was a gorgeous background and E was the perfect model. He was very agreeable and good-natured. What a handsome little man he was in his vest. . .
Playin' in the Park
I met this pair of sisters in the park on a warm, sunny morning. We spent the first part of our time together checking out the flowers and then the fun began as I chased them around the park to capture some little gigles on camera. . .

One is Fun {Goshen Child Photographer}
I was delighted when this family asked me to take one-year photos of their daughter. I had done a session with them when M was just 6 months old and my, oh my, how big she has gotten! She was in constant motion and the expressions she made were priceless. . .

Wedding Black and Whites {Goshen Wedding Photographer}
As I was editing the images from Saturday's wedding, I kept going back to the black and whites. I have to say that often these are my favorites. There is just something about the emotions they convey; it's almost like the color masks the feeling of the moment. My favorites were quiet moments shared between a mother and her daughter, the groom and his ring bearer, and the newlyweds. . .

Megan and Josh {Goshen Wedding Photographer}
What a beautiful couple! I was so glad to finally meet Megan and Josh and capture the special moments of their wedding day. We had fantastic weather before the cermony to capture some shots outside by the lake but just before the ceremony, the rain arrived and we moved inside. Everyone took it in stride and the day turned out perfect. So Megan and Josh, enjoy your new adventure together and your sneak peek. . .

Rain, Rain, Go Away
This large family was all together today and was trying to squeeze in a family photo. The only problem? The rain. It would sprinkle. It would downpour. It would sprinkle some more. Finally, after a few shots inside, the rain finally stopped long enough that we were able to move outside to the deck. The move outside was just what everyone needed (especially the 7 children age 5 and under). Once the kids saw the tractors, there was no stopping them.

K {Concord Senior Photographer}
I met up with Concord senior K this afternoon. A few outfits and locations later, we ended up with a fantastic set of photos. It was hard to pick out some favorites to share, but here goes. K, hope you enjoy a little sneak peak. . .

Tulips! {Elkhart Family Photographer}
Have you ever heard that expression, "tip-toeing through the tulips"? Well, I did my own tip-toeing today as I watched little A attempt to count every gorgeous tulip she saw along our walk through the garden. When I look back at these photos, my senses are still overwhelmed by the enormous swaths of red flowers. It was simply amazing! The tulips were everywhere; they were gorgeous; and they were the perfect backdrop for this family. . .
